People who are in the search engine optimization business will have come across the term Google Sandbox before. It is believed that Google will hinder a new website from getting good rankings, until the website exists for “x” number of months.
This “x” number of months is believed to be at least 3 months; therefore it is very common to see that new websites usually do not rank well on Google at the beginning. So what do webmasters need to do in order to get out of the Google Sandbox faster so that they can start having their websites to be organically rank well on Google?
One of the suggested ways is before you launch your new website; establish a link exchange with a website which is indexed and have good rankings on Google. If you are in a particular niche and already have a website which has been indexed by Google, you can place the domain name of your new website on an indexed page, preferably with a good PageRank.
With this, you will be able to reduce the time your new website will be spending in the sandbox. When spiders are crawling your indexed website, they will follow the link to your new website. This method will definitely be a faster way when compared to manual submission of your new website to Google.
Getting out of Google sandbox is very important if you are doing business on the Internet. You will want your new website to appear on Google as soon as possible, so that you will not miss out on the enormous targeted traffic there.
